An Interview With Leona O' Neill, Journalist

After leaving secondary school Leona went to Art College, however after realising it wasn’t the career for her Leona decided to pursue her dreams of becoming a journalist.
 

Leona currently works as a news and features reporter with the Belfast Telegraph, a broadcast journalist with Q Radio and Northern Ireland Field Producer with Al Jazeera as well as a weekly columnist for Irish News.

Leona created the first online only 24-hour local news portal for the northwest of Ireland, produced several Northern Ireland-wide glossy magazines and has also managed the social media news portal News360NI for a number of years. Leona also has a great deal of experience in her profession and lectures in Journalism at the Ulster University.
